Xerox and Cisco have formed an alliance to deliver cloud-based services and technology that combine network intelligence and print capabilities. The alliance brings Xerox’s managed print and cloud IT outsourcing services to customers over Cisco’s intelligent network infrastructure. Both companies will arm channel partners with solutions that help businesses extend their existing IT investments to improve performance and reduce cost.

Cisco today announced to shut down Flip video camera division as part of its new strategy to exit from aspects of its consumer businesses and realign the remaining consumer business to support four of its five key company priorities – core routing, switching and services; collaboration; architectures; and video. Cisco claimed to support the current FlipShare customers and partners with a transition plan, even after the closure of the Flip video business.
