Infor offers comprehensive cloud solutions that address today’s needs

Mohamed Taha, Senior Director, Channels and Alliances, Middle East & Africa, Infor, speaks exclusively to Channel Post MEA about Infor’s outlook and growth in the MEA region.

How has Infor adapted its strategy for the MEA region in order to overcome this unexpected global turmoil?
Infor gave foremost importance to the channel infrastructure, we ensured that we are able to replicate our successful channel programs in the MEA region as its elsewhere. We listened to our partners and strengthened our Infor Partner Network. We kept adding lots of benefits to our channel based on the continuous feedback we received from our partners.

Infor has always looked to hire the right skills instead of trying to flood the market with too many options. We have focused on the coverage and excellence of the channel to add value to our customers.

Please throw some light on Infor’s growth in the region.
Infor has recorded a tremendous growth. We have achieved an annual growth of 40%. With digital transformation no longer being an option for organizations, many of our customers are now starting to embark on their digitalization journey. Our partners have been able to successfully advise them and have enabled them to get out of their comfort zone to adapt to the change and offer real value. Infor ensures that customers are offered both up-to-date and secure cloud solutions that seamlessly addresses today’s needs.

How according to you will the cloud evolve in the future?
Cloud is everywhere. A couple of years earlier, Cloud adoption was seen as a lengthy and cumbersome process. But this view has totally changed now. Digital transformation seems to be the most preferred way forward for most of the organizations globally. Cloud is one of the main drivers of the digital transformation, right from providing faster services, getting insights on the information, enabling remote access, etc. Concepts such as data insights, data lakes will continue to drive the cloud. Connectivity and data insights are now becoming very crucial. Organizations would need them to make faster decisions so as to ensure they stay in business.
