Canon recently hosted its first ever end-user seminar for IT resellers and system integrators in Doha. The initiative is part of Canon’s ongoing strategy aimed at building relationships with its valued end-user customers.
“This is the first in a series of end-user seminars that we will be conducting in Qatar. Our aim is to get the message across to our first customers that we are committed to engaging with them directly in order to deliver outstanding products and unrivalled service, ensuring that they get the most out of every Canon product they purchase,” said Hendrik Verbrugghe, Marketing Director, Canon Middle East.
End-users who attended the seminar got a preview of Canon’s latest range of laser printers. The new printers that were showcased are capable of producing outstanding quality pages, in colour and black & white, of up to 40 pages per minute. Attendees also experienced the quality of Canon’s unrivalled colour imaging technologies which give corporate end-users the competitive edge when producing quality presentations, brochures and other important corporate communications materials.
“Canon has a very strong printer line up in terms of technology, performance and range and is one of the key players in the printing industry. The laser multifunction printer (MFP) colour category is a fiercely competitive segment and one which we are currently witnessing significant growth and demand from respective end user segments. Taking this into account Canon has launched cutting edge colour MFPs in this segment,” said Bittu Mattam, Product Manager, Canon Middle East.
“With the new range of iSENSYS laser printers, SMEs and SOHO customers can maximise efficiency and take control of costs. The iSENSYS range improves efficiency through direct savings such as reduced running costs, lower power consumption and cost management,” added Mattam.
The demand for cost effective all in one office inkjet printers have significantly increased within the segment of home office users. To cater to this growing market, Canon Middle East has launched its all in one Inkjet multi function model such as Pixma MX 420, in Qatar. The new inkjet models combine new elegant designs along with cutting edge printing technology to meet basic and advanced printing needs of the business and home segment users.
“The Canon end user seminar has provided us with valuable insight into the new Canon product line up and forthcoming strategies relating to the new products, development of Channels and marketing initiatives in Qatar. Our alliance with world class brand like Canon reaffirms our commitment to providing local consumers with access to leading technology and value added experiences at all Salam Studio outlets,” Shoukat Hussain, Divisional Manger, Salam Studio & Stores.
