Samsung Electronics, has announced the local availability in South Africa, of its new memory card line-up, featuring Standard, EVO and PRO versions of all its SD cards and microSD cards.
The range covers a diverse set of requirements for both general and professional users and provides remarkable performance and reliability, ensuring exceptional storage for a variety of memory needs.
In a release on November 20th, Samsung Electronics observed that as consumers useg more smart devices, the need for further memory space has never been more prevalent, whether users have a phone, a tablet or a camera, adding more memory to a device has become easier.
The statement said Samsung’s memory cards are reliable and easy to use and provide a simple solution for one’s storage demands. They are able to capture a large number of photos as well as download media files and apps to a mobile device. Samsung offers the fastest, large-capacity (64GB) microSD cards for those who seek both high capacity and speed,” says Mike van Lier, Divisional Head of the Enterprise Business Team (EBT) at Samsung Electronics SA.
Van Lier highlights that: “Memory cards come in two categories: SD cards and microSD cards. The microSD card is smaller and ideal for smartphones, tablets and mobile devices, while SD cards are used in digital cameras and camcorders. However, the full range of microSD cards are supplied with a SD adapter for use in full sized SD slot devices. In addition to choosing the correct size, it is also important to ensure the memory card is compatible with your device, in terms of class rate and transfer speed, to secure the highest performance.”
