AESG has inaugurated its new 25,000-square-foot headquarters in Dubai, marking a major milestone in the firm’s growth and reaffirming its long-term commitment to the emirate as a centre for business, innovation, and technical excellence.
Founded in Dubai, AESG has grown from a regional consultancy into a global advisory and engineering firm with offices in London, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Cape Town, Cairo, and across the Middle East. The new headquarters consolidates its Dubai-based teams into a single, purpose-built, multidisciplinary environment designed to enhance collaboration and high-performance delivery.
The launch follows a period of strong expansion for the company. AESG’s project pipeline has increased by more than 60% over the past two years, while its headcount has doubled to over 500 consultants since early 2023. This growth reflects rising demand for integrated technical services across complex developments in sectors such as data centres, giga-projects, hospitality, mixed-use developments, and large-scale infrastructure.
During this period, AESG has also broadened the scope and complexity of its work. The firm is increasingly being appointed to deliver end-to-end technical integration across entire project lifecycles, including feasibility studies, engineering design, sustainability consulting, and cost management, rather than isolated service lines.
Saeed Al Abbar, CEO of AESG, said the firm’s expansion reflects a shift in client expectations. “Clients are no longer procuring skillsets in isolation — they are seeking fully integrated teams that can bring engineering, sustainability and cost optimisation together from the outset of a project. Our growth over recent years is a direct reflection of that demand, and this headquarters is our response to it. It also reflects our continued confidence in Dubai as a global hub for business and innovation,” he said.
A key feature of the new headquarters is a dedicated Data Hall, a high-performance digital engineering environment supporting AI-enabled workflows, computational fluid dynamics, digital twin modelling, BIM coordination, and real-time simulation. The facility provides a secure, scalable platform for AESG’s proprietary digital engineering and AI tools, enabling more advanced and data-intensive project delivery.
Scott Coombes, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, added that the investment strengthens AESG’s long-term innovation strategy. “From the outset, the ambition was to build a firm that could set international benchmarks while remaining rooted in this market. The scale of our projects today shows that vision is being realised. The Data Hall gives us the ability to develop proprietary AI and digital engineering tools in-house, delivering better and more reliable outcomes for our clients,” he said.
The new headquarters further strengthens AESG’s position as a Dubai-born firm with a global footprint, focused on delivering integrated engineering solutions for some of the region’s most ambitious and technically demanding projects.
