Sophos has appointed Naveed Malik as Senior Director, EMEA MSP Channel Sales, strengthening its focus on expanding managed service provider (MSP) partnerships and accelerating recurring revenue growth through cybersecurity service providers across the region.
In his new role, Malik will lead Sophos’ EMEA MSP partner strategy, helping partners deliver managed security services and supporting organizations as they increasingly adopt AI-powered cybersecurity solutions through trusted service providers. His priorities will include improving partner profitability, accelerating time-to-value, and expanding regional market coverage through a scalable, service-led approach.
Malik brings more than 15 years of experience in channel, MSP/MSSP, distribution, and cloud go-to-market strategies across EMEA and global markets. Throughout his career, he has worked with high-growth SaaS and cybersecurity companies, helping build partner ecosystems, drive channel transformation, and develop recurring revenue models.
“My focus is clear: build partner engines that convert cybersecurity innovation into monthly recurring revenue at scale,” said Malik. “Sophos has a strong EMEA MSP partner ecosystem. I look forward to working with our partners to expand managed services adoption, deepen customer trust, and unlock new growth opportunities.”
At Sophos, Malik will focus on strengthening the company’s MSP ecosystem by enabling partners to build profitable managed security offerings and deliver advanced protection services. This includes supporting the adoption of Sophos’ managed detection and response (MDR), advisory services, and AI-powered cybersecurity solutions across endpoint, network, email, and cloud environments.
His responsibilities will also include enhancing MSP enablement programmes, supporting scalable partner models, and helping distributors and service providers develop new managed security capabilities. Through these initiatives, Sophos aims to help partners address growing demand for outsourced cybersecurity expertise as organizations face increasingly complex threats and ongoing skills shortages.
The appointment comes as businesses across EMEA continue to rely more heavily on MSPs and managed security service providers to strengthen cyber resilience, improve threat detection, and reduce operational complexity. By expanding its MSP leadership team, Sophos is reinforcing its commitment to a partner-first strategy focused on long-term ecosystem growth.
Malik’s appointment supports Sophos’ broader global MSP strategy, empowering partners to deliver differentiated cybersecurity services while helping customers benefit from an open, AI-native security platform designed to protect modern digital environments.
