KERNO Enterprises has inaugurated its headquarters and first manufacturing facility at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), marking a significant milestone in the UAE’s advanced technology and industrial development journey. The facility positions the company as the country’s first manufacturer of enterprise IT hardware, strengthening national efforts toward technological sovereignty, localised advanced manufacturing, and the expansion of digital infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence and the digital economy.
The inauguration was attended by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, alongside Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Christopher Caswell, and senior government and private sector leaders. During the visit, HH Sheikh Ahmed toured the production lines, assembly units, testing facilities, and quality assurance systems, while also reviewing KERNO’s portfolio spanning AI servers, enterprise servers, high-performance computing systems, and advanced storage solutions.
HH Sheikh Ahmed said the launch of the facility reflects Dubai’s strategic focus on investing in knowledge-based and technology-driven industries, noting its alignment with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to position the emirate among the world’s leading economic hubs.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi described the facility as a major step in the UAE’s journey toward a diversified, innovation-led economy. He highlighted that the project reflects the country’s ability to attract high-value investments and convert them into advanced industrial capabilities that strengthen competitiveness, expand exports, and support global partnerships in future-focused sectors.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni said the development reinforces Dubai Silicon Oasis as a hub for technology and innovation-driven enterprises, adding that the integrated ecosystem under Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) continues to attract companies working in advanced computing and digital infrastructure.
The facility has an annual production capacity exceeding 60,000 units, including AI servers, enterprise and edge computing systems, UAE-developed x86 platforms, and mission-critical storage solutions designed for high-performance workloads.
