Presight today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Pramotedham, has received the Order of Dostyk, II degree, one of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s highest state honours. The award was presented by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in recognition of his contribution to the country’s digital transformation and to strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.
The distinction highlights Presight’s growing partnership in Kazakhstan and its role in supporting the country’s deploymentof national intelligence systems powered by AI. This includes involvement in the launch of Central Asia’s first national supercomputer and the deployment of the Astana Smart City platform.
During the award presentation, President Tokayev noted the strong level of cooperation with Presight and the UAE, expressing appreciation for their contribution to the advancement of AI solutions in Kazakhstan. He also highlighted opportunities to expand collaboration through further practical initiatives aligned with national priorities.
Looking ahead, Thomas Pramotedham reiterated Presight’s commitment in supporting Kazakhstan’s future digital infrastructure ambitions, including participation in Kazakhstan’s “Data Center Valley” initiative, aimed at building an ecosystem for AI infrastructure, computing capacity, and digital services.
The conversation also touched on the evolution of smart city initiatives. President Tokayev highlighted the impact of the Astana platform in enhancing public safety and quality of life, and expressed support for extending similar approaches to Almaty.
