HPE Drives Responsible AI and Modular Data Center Innovation Across MEA

Michael Langafal, Head of Technology & Business Development at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) for the Emirates and Africa, shares insights on how the company continues to push the boundaries of innovation and sustainability at GITEX 2025—one of the world’s largest technology showcases.

Langafal highlighted HPE’s showcase of Capitan, the world’s fastest supercomputer, alongside AI-powered modular data centers designed for rapid deployment in high-demand markets. These centers support large language models and computer vision AI, while addressing key challenges such as power efficiency and heat management—critical concerns in the region’s climate.

A key highlight this year was the first-ever joint showcase of Aruba and Juniper, demonstrating unified networking capabilities and the company’s growing ecosystem strength. Sustainability remains central to HPE’s vision, with products designed from the ground up to be energy-efficient—up to 69% more power efficient, according to Langafal.

Emphasizing HPE’s philosophy of “responsible and sustainable AI,” Langafal also touched on recent strategic acquisitions including Morpheus, OpsRamp, and Juniper, which strengthen HPE’s position in automation, hybrid cloud, and networking.

With innovation, sustainability, and partnerships at its core, HPE continues to empower enterprises across the Middle East and Africa to accelerate their digital and AI transformation journeys.
