HID FARGO Leads the Future of Secure Digital Identity

At GITEX 2025, Nat Pisupati, Regional Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa at HID FARGO, highlighted how the company continues to redefine secure identity issuance in a world where physical and digital credentials increasingly converge. As part of ASSA ABLOY’s Secure Issuance group, HID FARGO provides identity solutions to governments, enterprises, educational institutions, and petrochemical companies — sectors that require absolute trust and security in their credentialing systems.

Pisupati explained that while “everything is hackable,” HID FARGO ensures its solutions remain 99.9% secure by embedding advanced physical security elements and digital PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) layers to safeguard both physical and digital identities.

A key innovation is FARGO Connect, a cloud-based issuance platform that allows organizations to print and manage credentials centrally while distributing them securely across multiple locations — a breakthrough for governments and enterprises with widespread operations.

He acknowledged that legacy printers and outdated systems are becoming obsolete as they lack modern firmware and encryption capabilities, emphasizing the need for organizations to modernize their ecosystems. HID FARGO’s new range of solutions is designed to integrate with cybersecurity frameworks through partnerships with leading systems integrators and cloud security vendors.

Looking ahead, Pisupati sees strong growth across the Middle East and Africa as governments and businesses move toward digital identity ecosystems, merging physical and digital credentials for a more connected, secure future.
