Mohammed Retmi, Vice President of Sovereign Public Cloud at Core42, discussed how the company is redefining the future of secure digital infrastructure. As part of the G42 family, Core42 showcased its Sovereign Public Cloud—a robust platform built on Microsoft Azure that enables public sector and regulated entities to benefit from hyperscaler capabilities while ensuring data sovereignty and compliance.
Retmi emphasized Core42’s commitment to delivering smart sovereign infrastructure, highlighting advancements in AI Cloud and the company’s innovation platform, Core42 Compass, which empowers customers to leverage multiple large language models (LLMs) for diverse use cases.
He explained that AI is at the core of technological transformation, underscoring Core42’s role within the G42 Intelligence Grid, where sister companies like Khazna, Inception, and CPX collaborate to build an integrated AI ecosystem spanning data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Retmi noted that Core42’s partnerships with global technology leaders such as Microsoft, Nvidia, and AMD strengthen its capabilities in AI computing and hyperscale infrastructure. Looking ahead, he shared Core42’s ambitions to expand beyond the UAE, leveraging both its AI Cloud and strategic alliances to reach markets in Europe and the U.S. “There is no AI without infrastructure,” Rehmi said, reaffirming Core42’s mission to deliver sovereign, secure, and scalable AI infrastructure worldwide.
