Epson to Showcase Innovation, Sustainability, and Partner Synergy at GITEX 2025

Neil Colquhoun, President at Epson META-CW Asia, highlights Epson’s sustainable innovation, partner collaboration, and transformative technologies driving digital transformation, hybrid work, and eco-conscious growth showcased at GITEX 2025.

What are Epson’s key objectives for participating in GITEX this year, collaborating with partners?
Epson’s key objectives at GITEX are to engage with customers and partners, showcase how our latest innovations are transforming classrooms, offices, and entertainment spaces, and advance our long-term commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Building on the momentum of our expanded presence in the META-CWA region and the launch of our Innovation Centre in Dubai Production City, we will introduce a wide range of solutions across printing, scanning, projection, and labelling.

Through three experiential zones, Epson will demonstrate how our technologies support businesses and educational institutions in driving digital transformation. Visitors will enjoy hands-on demos and immersive set-ups designed to highlight real-world applications of Epson’s latest technologies.

How is Epson evolving its channel program to better support partners in delivering workplace solutions that meet the region’s growing demand for efficiency and digital transformation?
The Epson Partner Program is designed to empower resellers and distributors with the tools and resources they need to grow their business, specifically centred around Epson’s innovative printing and projection technologies. Key benefits include access to competitive discounts, deal registration for protection on large opportunities, comprehensive training and dedicated sales support to build expertise, and exclusive marketing materials.

Epson has strategically evolved its Partner Program over the past year, focusing on sustainability and comprehensive business solutions.

Can you share how Epson’s channel partners are helping drive adoption of your technologies in sectors such as education, healthcare, government, and retail across the Middle East?
Epson partners bring rich skills, knowledge and a nuanced understanding of the region’s diverse markets. With strong reach into sectors including education, retail, healthcare, and government, our partners play a crucial role in bringing the benefits of Epson’s solutions to customers while also ensuring that implementations are successfully tailored for their unique needs.

Epson will also have a presence on the stands of our partners Avientek and Almoe at GITEX, which will help us to demonstrate how our technologies support businesses and educational institutions in driving digital transformation.

With the workplace environment rapidly changing, how is Epson addressing the shift toward hybrid work, automation, and eco-conscious technology through its product offerings?
Epson supports hybrid work environments through efficient, compact, and precise innovation. We champion efficiency in printing, significantly reducing power consumption and consumable waste. This supports our customers’ eco-conscious goals and helps reduce costs for work-from-home and hybrid workers. Furthermore, our advanced projection and display solutions create seamless, scalable, and immersive collaboration spaces in any office or meeting room, helping bring teams together. Our leadership in robotics and industrial solutions is driving factory and logistics automation, enabling businesses to enhance precision, efficiency, and overall productivity in an increasingly automated world.

How does Epson’s new Innovation Centre in Dubai Production City enhance collaboration with regional partners and contribute to locally tailored product development?
The Innovation Centre, launched by Epson in February 2025, is equipped with the latest tools and technologies, focusing on areas such as printing, scanning, visual display, and manufacturing. It serves as a regional hub, connecting local insights with Epson’s research and development teams in Japan. This approach is designed to help create solutions that meet the specific needs of the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, and Central & West Asia (META-CWA) markets. The centre hosts workshops, seminars, and training sessions to support professional development for Epson’s team, partners, and customers. The hub is a beneficial resource for partners who can test new equipment configurations for customers, enhancing their ability to develop bespoke solutions.

What role do Epson’s sustainable technologies—such as heat-free printing and energy-efficient solutions—play in helping Middle Eastern businesses meet their environmental goals?
Sustainability is a core pillar of Epson’s innovation. Our sustainable technologies, particularly Heat-Free printing, are essential for Middle Eastern businesses aiming to reduce their environmental impact. By consuming significantly less electricity than laser alternatives, they directly lower a company’s carbon footprint and operational costs. These energy-efficient solutions also reduce waste and the need for frequent maintenance, providing a practical, long-term strategy for achieving regional and corporate environmental goals. At GITEX this year, Epson will showcase its ColorWorks and LabelWorks printers, including the compact LW-C410, which supports eco-friendly, on-demand labelling for smart homes and businesses.

How does GITEX serve as a platform for Epson to showcase its latest innovations, strengthen partner relationships, and shape the future of smart workplaces in the region?
GITEX is Epson’s ideal platform to showcase innovative Heat-Free printing and display solutions directly to regional decision-makers. It enables us to strengthen relationships with partners, educate them on sustainability advantages, and collaboratively define the blueprint for tomorrow’s smart, eco-conscious workplaces in the Middle East.

It’s also the perfect venue to showcase innovations such as Epson’s consumer home projector, EF-72, offering a cinematic experience in mini theatre pods. Visitors can experience how Epson’s laser projectors turn any space into an immersive zone – ideal for classrooms, events, or entertainment.

Epson is showcasing its solutions at Al Ain Meeting Room – Al Ain F (First Floor, above Hall 4) at GITEX Global, which runs from 13-17 October 2025 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
