As giga-projects scale up and the region positions itself as a global hub for events and innovation, the demand for high-performance, energy-efficient, and visually striking display solutions continues to grow. What are your top priorities for expanding Unilumin’s footprint across the Middle East over the next 12 to 24 months?
Our key priorities include strengthening our presence in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, enhancing local service capabilities, and expanding our network of channel and rental partners. With the rise of mega-events and large-scale infrastructure projects, we are committed to localising support through dedicated teams, regional training centers, and demo showrooms.

We are also focused on advancing our vertical go-to-market strategies, particularly in control rooms, retail, and live event production, by introducing next-generation display technologies such as Chip-on-Board (COB) and ultra-fine pixel pitch LED. Our core focus areas will be partner enablement, faster turnaround times, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of local markets.

Innovation is the backbone of our growth strategy. From ultra-fine pitch COB MIP displays to 3D naked-eye content solutions and XR/VP (Extended Reality/Virtual Production) studios, Unilumin is at the forefront of visual communication.

Our displays now integrate seamlessly with AI-ready control systems, remote monitoring, and cloud-based diagnostics, making them ideal for smart control rooms and digital command centers. We are also leveraging immersive technologies like U-Shield to deliver flexible, high-impact solutions for events, entertainment, and retail, each tailored to the unique vision of the project.

Which verticals or sectors do you see as high-growth areas for Unilumin in the Middle East?
We see significant opportunities across smart cities, government infrastructure, retail, and live entertainment. In the UAE and Saudi Arabia, large-scale digital transformation initiatives are driving demand for reliable display infrastructure supporting applications such as surveillance, traffic management, and civic communication.

In the retail sector, experiential marketing and interactive displays are redefining customer engagement. Unilumin’s rental series, such as UGM and LEX, are widely adopted for live events, exhibitions, and concerts throughout the region.

Additionally, we are actively collaborating with consultants and system integrators on data centers and control rooms, where 24/7 uptime, reliability, and visual precision are critical.

As sustainability becomes a key consideration in infrastructure and technology projects, how is Unilumin aligning its product development and business practices with green or energy-efficient initiatives? 
At Unilumin, sustainability is more than an industry requirement; it’s a foundational pillar of how we design, manufacture, and deliver our LED solutions. As the first LED display company to receive TÜV SÜD low-carbon certification, we take a comprehensive approach to minimising environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle.

We begin by sourcing certified low-emission, recyclable materials from trusted suppliers, ensuring that every component aligns with rigorous sustainability standards. Our production facilities are optimised to conserve resources like water and electricity through real-time monitoring and ongoing efficiency improvements. Even in logistics, we evaluate delivery routes to reduce transportation emissions, prioritising the most direct and efficient paths.

To date, over 30 Unilumin products have achieved low-carbon certification. We’re proud to see large-scale implementations, such as the 15,000 sqm Riyadh Season project, embracing our green-certified LED displays. As global demand for sustainable infrastructure accelerates, we remain committed to innovating responsibly, helping our clients meet their environmental goals without compromising on performance.
