Juniper Networks announced a project with Bizway to significantly enhance its data center operations and services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). By integrating Juniper Apstra, an intent-based networking software solution, and high-performance Juniper switches, Bizway sets a new standard in managed services, offering high-performance speed, reliability, and scalability for Dutch businesses poised for growth.
Providing High-Performance Services for SMEs
In the digital era where fast connections and seamless operations are non-negotiable for business success, hundreds of SMEs in the Netherlands rely on Bizway as their managed service provider (MSP) for reliable connections, ample computing power, and smooth digital operations.
Bizway selected Juniper Networks technology to optimize and manage its data center operations, improving its network infrastructure to support burgeoning business demands. As Bizway outgrew their original network, this created problems for the team as well as impacting the end-user’s service experience. Using Juniper Apstra’s single source of truth and powerful analytics, Bizway now delivers optimal network performance and can easily implement new services for customers, without requiring the expertise of senior engineers. Automated operations and centralized documentation have made the network more reliable as the points of failure have decreased. overall, the network operation is easier to manage, the time taken to make changes has dramatically decreased, previously taking over an hour to configure, it now takes no longer than twenty minutes.
The collaboration was facilitated by Fusix Networks, a trusted IT advisor and Juniper partner, who introduced Bizway to the potential of Juniper’s unique intent-based networking solution. Starting from the early orientation stage of the project, Fusix proposed a scalable design based on the EVPN/VxLAN technology and demonstrated that with the Juniper intent-based networking, Bizway can take full control of the operations of its data center network in its own hands.
To accommodate escalating customer demands, Bizway embarked on a comprehensive redesign of its two data centers, adopting an EVPN-VXLAN architecture with Juniper QFX5120 and EX4650 switches serving as the spine and leaf switches. This design not only boosts the data center’s capacity but also enhances the speed and flexibility of Bizway’s services.
The intent-based networking software automates and validates the design, deployment and operation of the data center network, enabling a seamless, error-free environment from Day 0 through Day 2 and beyond. This translates into faster onboarding times for new customers, significantly reducing the time-to-market for services from weeks to days.
Bizway’s use of Juniper’s data center solutions future proofs its network for anticipated business growth, making its business model adaptable to both customer and market demands.
