Saudi Foreign Affairs Ministry taps Oracle to boost international workforce presence

Oracle has announced that the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) will implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), to streamline and simplify the process for Saudi nationals to apply for positions in international organisations and agencies, thus further increasing their participation in the world body.

As a member of the G20 countries, Saudi Arabia Ministry of Foreign Affairs is focused on providing training and development programs to equip and match Saudi talent with international opportunities. With Oracle Cloud HCM, the Ministry will be among the first to adopt a cloud first policy and will gain advanced HR capabilities to enhance employee experience, streamline recruiting efforts and match the right talent with new opportunities.

The implementation will help the Ministry offer an excellent recruitment experience to candidates across all devices through digital assistants, SMS tools, and tailored career sites. In addition, the Ministry’s recruitment team will also benefit from targeted marketing and candidate relationship management capabilities, AI-powered candidate recommendations, time-to-fill predictions, and intelligent automation features. This will also help streamline the onboarding and training process as well as career and skills development by consolidating relevant content onto a single, easy-to-navigate platform.

“This initiative will help open new opportunities for Saudi talent with international organisations. With a modern user experience, powerful AI capabilities and regular automatic updates to the service, Oracle Cloud HCM is well equipped to support this important national initiative,” said Reham Almusa, vice president – Cloud Applications – Public Sector, and country leader – Saudi Arabia, Oracle.
