The partnership aims at deepening the integration between intella Voice and Huawei OpenLab
Intella has announced its partnership with Huawei to advance its Arabic Speech-To-Text technology. The partnership targets the creation of new commercial opportunities and the development of new use cases for intella’s AI-based technology. Additionally, this partnership aims at deepening the integration between intella Voice and Huawei OpenLab; allowing Huawei to utilize intella’s core technology to build AI products using its own interface.
Intella Voice, the most accurate multi-dialect Arabic voice transcriber, helps unlock conversational intelligence by allowing Arabic speakers to accurately get their voices captured. With 95.7% average accuracy across 25 Arabic dialects, the new AI-based application can be used in chatbots and voice assistants, customer service centers, emergency hotlines, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems. Using natural language processing models, the machine learning-powered application gets smarter every time it’s used. Thus, the partnership will enable both parties to seize commercial opportunities and enter new potential markets, combining intella’s AI-powered innovations and Huawei’s private and public cloud capabilities…
In this context, Co-founder and CEO of intella, Nour Taher, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Huawei, as the integration between intella’s Arabic speech-to-text technology and Huawei’s global presence will enable us to create more possibilities and achieve our go-to-market vision. As a real-time intelligence provider, we look forward to making use of Huawei’s advanced AI capabilities and ready infrastructure to continue developing our AI-based solutions.”
From his end, intella’s Co-Founder & CTO, Omar Mansour, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying: “At intella, we are committed to delivering real-time data-powered intelligence to businesses. With 95.7% average accuracy, our new AI model, intella Voice, reaffirms our keenness to provide state-of-the-art innovation that can deliver fast, precise insights and increase the value of data. It is an incredibly exciting step for us at intella, and our partnership with a pioneering ICT company such as Huawei, is definitely a testament to our efforts that focuses on innovative solutions, to spearhead Arabic conversational Artificial Intelligence (AI).”
Michael Shafik, Director of Solutions and Strategic Partnerships at Huawei Northern Africa, said: “We, at Huawei, are keen to support technology-based startups in order to accelerate their growth, which in return feeds into our progressive vision of digital transformation. Under the agreement, we will integrate intella’s new AI model, intella Voice, in our AI products. On the other, intella will have a full access to our state-of-the-art public and private cloud stack, which are essential for expanding their customer base in new markets, as they provide the infrastructure needed to store, manage, and access data quickly and efficiently.”
It’s worth mentioning that intella has secured $1 million seed financing early this year. Founded in 2021 by Nour Taher and Omar Mansour, the MENA region’s first real-time intelligence provider, intella, has, thus far, succeeded in making intelligence available to all with faster, more accurate, more scalable AI models made possible by end-to-end deep learning.
