WSO2 to showcase its latest Software-as-a-Service offerings at GITEX 2022

Uday Shankar Kizhepat, Vice President and GM – MEA, WSO2, offers a sneak peek into the solutions WSO2 plans to showcase at GITEX and emphasizes on the importance of channel and how they intend to enable their channel partners.

How would you define your organisation and what prompted you to participate at this year’s GITEX?

WSO2 is an open-source technology partner for organizations that are looking to build best-in-class digital experiences for their customers, employees, and partners. Our portfolio of integration, API management and customer identity and access management (CIAM) solutions provide organizations with the foundation required to build agile, secure, and scalable digital applications and services.

Today, thousands of the world’s largest corporations, leading universities, and government institutions rely on our open-source, cloud-native, and uniquely extensible products, and industry solutions. Together, we execute in excess of 18 trillion transactions, expose more than 200,000 APIs, and manage over 100 million identities every single year.

We see GITEX as a key trade show in our annual events calendar for the region and have been a regular participant. As with previous editions, WSO2 will have a dedicated stand (CC2-3), wherein we intend to showcase our industry leading products that enable our customers to drive digital transformation within their organisations & outside as well as creating a ‘wow’ user experience.

What products or solutions will be your highlight this year at the show?

At GITEX, we will be showcasing our latest software as a service (SaaS) offerings, that include our identity as a service (IDaaS) solution, Asagrdeo, and our digital platform as a service, Choreo. By removing the complexity of cloud native infrastructure, our solutions allow customers to focus on faster innovation and the delivery of new digital experiences.

We will also demonstrate our key software offerings, including WSO2 API Manager, our complete platform for building and integrating your business capabilities as managed APIs, and WSO2 Identity Server for customer identity and access management (CIAM). Together, they form what we call the “digital core.” Both solutions can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid architectures offering the much needed flexibility to our customers.

How important is channel for you and how do you enable channel partners to work with you?

Around 60% of our business in the region is transacted through the channel, making it an integral part of our go-to-market strategy. Over the last year, we have significantly grown our channel ecosystem, with a focus on partners that can add value to our customers through a consultative approach. To do this, we empower them with training and online resources that enable them to stay current on the latest advancements in our solution portfolio. We hope to meet more channel organisations at GITEX who are keen on building long-term revenue streams through their partnership with WSO2.

What is the key message that you would like to pass on to your existing/prospective partners attending GITEX?

Customers in the Middle East are investing heavily in digital technologies, and with the arrival of hyperscalers in the region, serverless technologies and containerisation are on the rise. Customers today have high expectations of business in terms of their digital journey, and at WSO2, we are committed to ensuring they get what they need.

WSO2 gives customers the flexibility to use products in the public cloud, private cloud, hybrid, and on premises models. Our products are designed and built for the cloud, with a focus on cloud native features such as serveless and container technologies.

What does your company hope to achieve at the end of the show?

Our participation is centred around three key objectives. First is relationship building as we will leverage our presence to meet and engage with the many customers, partners and prospects who will attend. Second, it offers us the opportunity to highlight the latest advancements in our solutions and service portfolio. And third, we will use this event to further demonstrate our commitment to the Middle East market, which remains a key region for WSO2. Our interactions with the attendees will help us develop a deeper understanding of the digital goals and challenges faced by Middle East businesses, which in turn helps us design and deliver solutions tailored to address their needs.

Where can we find you at GITEX? (booth no and hall no)
