Sennheiser has appointed Proxynet Communications as the authorised distributor for Sennheiser’s business communication solutions in West Africa. Headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria Proxynet is a leading professional Audio-Visual solutions company with having presence across Nigeria, Ghana, CIV, Cameroun, Gambia, and Senegal.

“Sennheiser is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of microphones, wireless transmission systems, and unified communications solutions, and one of the biggest audio A-brands for the professional audio market,” says Edward Ifeanyi, Managing Director Proxynet. “We look forward to the cooperation with Sennheiser, which enables us to offer our customers yet another highly recognized brand, allowing us to optimise our product mix and strengthen our position in the market.”

Proxynet will distribute products from Sennheiser’s Enterprise Solutions portfolio, including its Unified Communication products and renowned wireless microphone solutions.  Sennheiser is looking to Proxynet to help grow sales across West Africa by adding solutions-led value for resellers and clients, supporting its objectives for increased market share. For over 75 years, the name Sennheiser has been synonymous with innovation and the highest quality products across all areas of sound recording, transmission, and reproduction – and these fit well into the Proxynet’s Unified Communications channel.

Mig Cardamone, Sales Director and Country Manager from Sennheiser Middle East is very pleased with the agreement. He says: “At Sennheiser, we are delighted with this new sales cooperation with Proxynet in Nigeria as a distribution partner of Sennheiser Business Solutions. This is an exciting partnership for us and will further help us strengthen our distribution network. It will give us a much broader reach with our products, and a much wider audience, especially in the Enterprise-channel. We look forward to a strong and long-lasting partnership with them. “
