Honeywell to showcase innovative smart city solutions at Cairo ICT 2021

Honeywell will showcase its innovative solutions that can enable smarter cities and communities at Cairo ICT 2021. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how Honeywell is using digital transformation to create more efficient city-wide operations and improve situational awareness, in addition to software and hardware solutions that leverage data analytics and cloud-based solutions. These solutions drive operational efficiencies and enable improved decision-making to help create cities that are safer, more sustainable and more livable for citizens.

Honeywell solutions on show at Cairo ICT can:

• Enable smarter city-wide operations: Honeywell Command and Control Center (CCC) provides real-time visibility into city operations for urban planners, city stakeholders and decision makers; optimizes situational awareness and management, enhances incident workflow management, and reduces time to dispatch emergency services. It can be complemented by the Honeywell Command and Control Suite (CCS), which features solutions for building operators and city management, including fire and safety, security and energy saving technology that can be tailored for different vertical industries including hospitality, transportation, airports and healthcare facilities.

• Create more sustainable city operations and provision of smart services: Honeywell City Operations Center (COC) is a central hub that can equip a team to better monitor and operate multiple smart city systems. It brings together the data and value of IoT, empowering a city with solutions and actionable intelligence needed to be smarter, more resilient and more sustainable, as well as help create a more productive citizen experience.

• Support improved building efficiencies: Honeywell’s connected building technologies including the Honeywell Forge enterprise performance management solution, Healthy Buildings solutions and Remote Building Services help optimize real estate value for developers of smart buildings and communities; these offerings improve building operational efficiency, enhance indoor air quality complemented by Signify’s UV-C disinfection lighting, compliance to new guidelines, and provide 24/7 remote management of buildings.

Held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from November 7 – 10, under the patronage of His Excellency Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, president of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Cairo ICT’s theme is ‘Enabling Egypt’s future smart, connected and secure cities and communities.’ Visitors to the show can learn more about Honeywell’s smart city technology portfolio at the company’s stand (#3D4), located in Hall 3.
