MEEZA’s offerings include Managed IT services, Data Centre Services, Cloud Services and IT Security Services, in addition to expertise in Smart Cities Solutions field. As part of an effort to digitally transform its business, MEEZA’s IT team selected Commvault to deliver advanced, flexible data protection for all workloads. The partnership with Commvault enabled MEEZA to introduce live cloud service – Backup-as-a-Service, part of MEEZA’s growing Cloud portfolio.

Faisal Al Kuwari, CTO, MEEZA

Faisal Al Kuwari, MEEZA CTO said, “Our partnership with Commvault aims to bring the best IT and Intelligent Data Services to our operations. Businesses in Qatar and the region can expect to benefit from these solutions that will channel greater opportunities, power agility and scalability, and with enhanced service levels. We are pleased to have Commvault on board as our partner to take MEEZA’s mission further.”

As more Microsoft Azure cloud data centres are slated to start operating in Qatar in 2022, Commvault is preparing to expand its enterprise-grade SaaS data management offerings in Qatar with the introduction of Metallic, an award-winning Backup-As-A-Service offering for SaaS and Microsoft applications such as Office 365, Dynamics and many more, giving customers a further layer of protection in their Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

Nader Kassir, Country Manager, Gulf & Levant at Commvault added “Commvault has been working closely with organizations in Qatar since 2015. We have established strategic partnerships with government sporting entities, large news network providers and numerous other businesses in the country. We are proud to be working with MEEZA, which implements Commvault’s core tailored backup as a service offering, a platform to scale MEEZA’s software and storage premium services as the organization continues to expand.”
