Vikas Panchal, Business Head- Middle East, Tally Solutions speaks with Channel Post MEA about their participation at Gitex Technology Week 2020, and the highlight for the show this year will be TallyPrime, the next-generation business management software.
How is Tally doing in the Middle East?
The Middle East is one of our key focus markets outside India and we have a strong presence in the region. Over the last decade, we have assisted over 60,000 businesses in the region with their accounting, inventory, and compliance needs. Through our strong partner ecosystem, we have been providing a delightful and seamless experience to the SME community in the region. With the onset of the pandemic, we are hosting several webinars, virtual events and workshops for our customers and SMEs n general to assist them in the daily business operations through technology.
For how many years is Tally exhibiting at Gitex and why is it important for you to be present at Gitex?
We have been exhibiting at Gitex for the past 7 years and it has always been a strategic platform to not only showcase our products and offerings but also reach out to prospects, meet business owners, sign up deals and strengthen the brand’s visibility. We have had a remarkable engagement in the past editions and expect this year to be bigger and better.
How is your participation different from the previous editions?
Participating in an in-person event this year is the beginning of another learning curve. It will not only help us understand the sentiments of the market accurately but also help us connect with prospective customers. We are positive that the upcoming event will boost the business communities, as well as reactivate vital communication channels to achieve a set of ambitious objectives in the decade ahead.
We are thrilled to be participating in this event and are confident that event organisers have taken all necessary precautions, in line-with the government protocols to make this a safe and successful event.
Which products will be the highlight this year?
This year Gitex will see the showcase of our new product – TallyPrime- the next generation business management software. TallyPrime is our latest offering which will equip SMEs owners and new-age entrepreneurs with an ultra-simple and powerful software to enhance their business productivity. Focused on making the business owners’ lives simple, TallyPrime aims to further simplify business management by facilitating users to comfortably manage and grow their business without needing to know the finer nuances of accounting or technology. The product is meticulously designed keeping the user experience at core, which enhances the legendry speed, simplicity, reliability and flexibility of the product.
What impact do you see social distancing and COVID-19 safeguards can have on this year’s Gitex?
The UAE government has always been a step ahead in maintaining the necessary precautions and measures to safeguard the country and its citizens. With social distancing and COVID-19 safeguards in place, Gitex will be an easy to engage event with potential customers, peers and media.
