SPEA selects Sahab smart solutions as its technology partner

The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has appointed Sahab Smart Solutions as its technology partner to develop the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) e-platform as well as its digital infrastructure.

The appointment is in pursuance of SEA’s goals to offer programs and courses that will produce qualified management and education professionals who will be the key leaders of Sharjah’s digital transformation journey. The step also reflects Sharjah’s committed efforts in creating digital-first, student-centric educational environments.

Sahab Smart Solutions has been tasked with the development of the SEA e-platform as well as provide smart solutions to the academy. Additionally, Sahab will facilitate the application of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence by the academy.

Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashemi, Chairperson of SPEA, stressed that digitalizing their courses programmes in order to make them accessible to a wider cross-section of people via the e-platform reiterated the authority’s belief in exploring and utilizing wide-ranging smart solutions to advance educational output. She noted, with this partnership, Sahab has assumed a central role in helping SEA achieve its goals of developing the skillsets of staff in educational institutions.

For his part, Amin Al Zarouni, CEO of Sahab, said that their company’s expertise is backed by vast experience in providing customized smart solutions to various government bodies, which has significantly improved the latter’s public services and other offerings. Adding that Sahab was more than a smart solutions provider, he emphasized the company seeks to function as a core partner in Sharjah’s sustainable digital transformation and overall development.

The Sahab CEO further noted that the changes around the world, dictated by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, highlighted the importance of an advanced technology infrastructure to ensure business continuity in vital sectors such as healthcare and education.
