AI Summit to open tomorrow in Dubai

The year’s most anticipated Artificial Intelligence (AI) summit for governments, businesses, social enterprises & the creative economy will be inaugurated tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The two-day AI Everything Summit is a culmination of the UAE and the world’s mission to promote initiatives, collaborations, partnerships and breakthroughs in the field of AI, and to foster positive impact on governments, businesses, social enterprises and
humankind.

Hosted by the UAE National Programme for Artificial Intelligence with the support of International Telecommunication Union, (ITU) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), in strategic partnership with Smart Dubai, this conference is of particular relevance to the country in the context of the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 launched recently, to provide fillip to the country’s technology goals.

Inspired by the strategy to establish the UAE as an innovative AI investment destination, the summit seeks to convene the global investment community to explore integrated smart solutions and AI
innovations that ultimately boost the performance of private and public sector entities across all levels, while creating a vibrant AI start-up and educational ecosystem.

The event has a formidable line-up of leading international technology giants as well as local and regional companies, as well as over 130 influential speakers, including Dr. Andrew Ng, Co-founder of Coursera and Google Brain, and Adjunct Professor at Stanford University.
