Eaton to exhibit at Intersec 2019

Power management company, Eaton is exhibiting at Intersec 2019 in Dubai to highlight its innovative array of Adaptive Evacuation and life safety products.

Evacuation planning is critical in commercial buildings facing an ever-increasing range of potential hazards. Eaton’s adaptive exit luminaires provide commercial buildings with the potential to redirect building occupants to safety by adjusting the directions displayed according to the threat – such as a red cross to indicate that a particular exit route has been blocked.

Qasem Noureddin, Regional Sales Director, Life Safety Division at Eaton comments, “We are proud to unveil this life-saving technology, and to showcase its capabilities at this year’s Intersec show. Safety is at the absolute core of what Eaton offers and we believe that this new technology will move the needle for how evacuation in commercial buildings is viewed.

“In an increasingly complex urban environment, it is essential to provide a new kind of evacuation guidance that is adaptable rather than static. Our goal is to educate the market on this key issue.”

Eaton will be demonstrating the importance of its products and the ways in which they provide safe, reliable power solutions for fire and lighting across a range of industry applications, including commercial construction, oil and gas and transport.

On stand, Eaton will have a range of fire systems, as well as emergency lighting displays, fire pump controllers and notification speakers. Local experts will also be on hand to discuss specific applications and bespoke solutions that are regularly designed for customers across the Middle East.

Noureddin concludes, “This show serves us with a rich opportunity to showcase our array of smart digital technologies, and highlights our commitment to make commercial and residential buildings better connected, more resilient, more efficient and safer. The way we build and manage buildings is changing dramatically, and we want to help educate people to prepare for this smarter future.”
