Acer celebrated its Partner Week

Acer Middle East recently celebrated the 10th edition of its annual ‘Acer Partner Week’ earlier last week, where it hosted channel partners from all across the region and showcased them its latest range of products. During Partner Week, Acer and partners discussed market trends, challenges and how to overcome these and grow, and how the brand will be marketing their products in the region across the gaming, thin & light, education & commercial product segments.

“We have been making excellent strides globally and I am pleased that our Middle East numbers are in-line,” commented Paul Collins, MEA General Manager at Acer. “The event provided us with an opportunity to thank all of our partners, who believed in our strategy and we look forward to growing together in 2019 as we introduce new and exciting products to the market.”

At the event, Acer announced its consolidated revenues for the third quarter of 2018 at NT$65.33 billion, up 7.8% YoY, and up 11.7% over the previous quarter. In the UAE, Acer’s revenue grew YTD by 24%, in Saudi Arabia by 21% & GCC by 52%. Products that were key to the growth in sales included Acer’s Chromebooks, ultra-thin line-up & gaming range.
