Huawei unveiled its new notebook “HUAWEI MateBook X Pro” for users in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during a launch event held in the capital city of Riyadh. It is the first notebook to feature the HUAWEI FullView Display.
The 13.9-inch 3K notebook featuring an all-new 10-point touchscreen has a 3,000×2,000 pixel resolution in 3:2 aspect ratio that is perfect for content creation. Its stylish metallic body design is crafted with perfect diamond cutting and sandblasting finishing to create an ultra-slim body that is just 14.6 Mm thin and weighs 1.33 Kg, making it comfortable to carry.
President of Huawei Consumer Business Group Saudi Arabia, Pablo Ning, said “Users always look for devices that allow them to do their work with accuracy, innovation and mobility. The premium designed MateBook X Pro features powerful 8th Generation Intel Core i7/i5 processor and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with 2 GB GDDR5 RAM, it is one of the most powerful and lightweight notebooks on the market. The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro features Dolby Atmos Sound System – a breakthrough, immersive audio with Dolby Atmos and custom speakers. A 57.4 Wh (typical capacity) battery and Huawei’s low power consumption design provide up to 12 hours of 1080p video playback, 14 hours of work or 15 hours of web browsing.
The new notebook also features the super-fast power button 2.0 which enables login in just 7.8 seconds from power off or 6.6 seconds from hibernation. In addition, the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro features the world’s first recessed camera which discreetly sits on the keyboard – to activate it, all users need to do is press it and it will pop up, ensuring privacy when it’s not being used. This contributes greatly to the perfect experience of FullView Display.
A multi-purpose adapter supports USB-C fast charging widely used in smartphones, meaning users only need to bring one charger when travelling for even greater portability. By developing a high-speed transport protocol, Huawei Share enables users to exchange photos and files quickly, easily and safely, without USB compatibility problems. The Wi-Fi transfer speed is up to 20 Mbps, 100 times faster than that of Bluetooth.
With a long lasting battery and increased security, the device offers a new amazing user experience while browsing the internet through Microsoft Edge that features Windows Ink feature, introduces a unique device gaming experience, and secures access and identification of the user through Windows Hello technology that depends on several accurate techniques such as facial or fingerprint recognition.
The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is available in the Saudi market at Jarir Bookstore, exclusively, with 8 GB RAM, an 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, in matt grey color and at 5,999 SAR. It is also available with 16 GB RAM, an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and in light grey color at 6,999 SAR.
