Kyocera picks up top spot in S. Africa

Kyocera recently announced that it has achieved the top spot in the A4 Colour Copier/MFP category according to the latest research by InfoSource, showing market sizing data in the office automation industry in the Southern African region for 2017.

The Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa achieved number one spot with a market share of 14.5%, as reported by InfoSource.

Brandon Zabielski

Brandon Zabielski, A4 Hardware Product Manager at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa, says the win was due to the expansion of Kyocera’s colour range, and by offering first-to-market technology in the A4 format, like the finishing capabilities of the A4 TASKalfa range that are more commonly found in A3 printers.

These include best-in-class finishing options, as well as top-of-class paper input and output options, making it the perfect office partner in any industry. This, Zabielski says, in addition to smarter construction methods that increase reliability and the ease of use of the A4 range of printers, contributed greatly to Kyocera’s growth and success in the market in both 2016 and 2017.

“It’s so gratifying to see our innovative ideas, our commitment to the channel, and our deep understanding of our customers’ needs being rewarded with such exceptional market performance. We plan to keep the momentum going in the coming months as we move further into 2018, so watch this space, as with every launch of another A4 range the offering gets stronger and stronger,” Zabielski concludes.
