Canon announced that six of its designs bagged iF Design Awards for 2018. iF Design Awards are one of the most prestigious awards within the field of design.
This year, 6,402 entries from 54 countries and regions were judged by internationally renowned design experts across seven categories including product, packaging, communication, interior architecture, professional concept, service design/UX and architecture.
“Canon’s power of technological innovation, supported by our strong research and development capabilities, has led us to be leaders in the imaging industry. That said, we have not compromised on design and our customer centric approach to product development. In fact, we place great emphasis on products that are the latest in their field, but are also aesthetically appealing.” said Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director at Canon Middle East.
“Canon considers all elements when developing a product from ergonomics, to research based design, functionality as well as feedback from our customers through surveys and focus groups. This all-encompassing, 360-degree view is what makes it possible to create products that not only stand out in design, but live on as Canon icons,” concludes Agrawal.
