Africa’s leading value added distributor, Westcon-Comstor announced its convergence business practice has signed a new distribution agreement with Snom Technology GmbH to distribute their full product portfolio across Africa, excluding South Africa.
Snom’s portfolio of cutting-edge SIP-based telephony devices are recognised for their rugged commercial grade performance, reliability and ease of interoperability which has made them the VoIP handset partner of choice for the industry’s leading VoIP service providers, hosted VoIP, IP PBX and Unified Communications solution vendors.
Explaining the many mutual benefits the partnership offers, Julie Cartier International Channel Manager at Snom said, “Westcon Africa is ideally suited to distribute Snom products to our customers in Africa. Not only do they have excellent experience and understanding of local markets, but they also have excellent knowledge of Snom products and the best distribution networks and infrastructure to ensure that any logistical challenges can be easily overcome.”
Snom products target the SME market which is currently growing very fast and the product pricing is well suited to cover this region. Both the companies expects this partnership will ensure resellers, service providers and customers in Africa will have the best possible access to the full Snom product portfolio.
