Nisith Naik, CEO of Centra Hub

Is this your first time at GITEX Technology Week or have you participated before? If yes, what were your takeaways from last year’s event?

We are excited about our second year of participation at GITEX Technology Week 2017, which is the single largest regional ICT platform that we can use to introduce our cloud enabled, CRM, HCM and vertical solutions for a focused audience.

We received great response and brand visibility at GITEX last year and hence we decided to participate once again this year.

What are your expectations from this year’s participation?

We are also looking to expand our partner base, announce new partnerships and mobilize new markets particularly within the GCC markets. Through our participation, we hope to increase Centra Hub’s brand visibility and reach, meet with our existing partners and customers, and sign on new reputed partners across global markets.

Can you give us details of your hall and booth at the event?

Centra Hub is exhibiting from Stand E8-10, Hall 8.

What are you showcasing at GITEX Technology Week 2017?

GITEX Technology Week 2017 is an important event in our annual calendar. Apart from launching new solutions, we plan to showcase our best-in-class Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Capital Management (HCM) and enhanced vertical specific solutions particularly in the operations of Real Estate Sales, Leasing, Facilities Management, Home Owner’s Association Management, Automotive, Education, Trading and Retail among other industries, and our HCM system compliant with local regulations.

Specialized experts from Centra Hub will be holding product demonstrations for visitors and sharing their regional and global successes with them.

Do you have any plans to launch any new products, solutions or technologies at GITX Technology Week this year?

We are planning to launch CBooks, our new global Financial Accounting and Inventory Management online Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product, which is VAT-ready and compliant. With this new software, Centra Hub will help companies manage their sales, marketing, service and other business operations more efficiently and need not depend on third-party applications to maintain their books of account.

We are also expanding our portfolio of vertical-specific solutions for operations management in various industries including real estate, automotive, trading and retail, etc.

What technology trends have you seen in the Middle East and Africa market?

GITEX always introduces the latest and most disruptive technologies to the market. With the UAE introducing VAT in January 2018, we expect particular emphasis to be laid on VAT compliance solutions, both in financial accounting, as well as operations management. Many software vendors be focusing on VAT-compliant solutions.

With more organizations going digital, we are seeing an increased uptake of Cloud and SaaS-based applications. The emphasis on cloud solutions will be of particular importance as the region moves slowly towards adopting the cloud platforms. Operations automation and governance will be of particular importance this GITEX as new management philosophies of embracing technology are being observed.
