Qualcomm is in the middle of a lawsuit with Apple over disputed royalty payments and Qualcomm is trying to have imports of Apple’s iPhone banned in the US.
Now the CEO of Qualcomm, Steve Mollenkopf, has revealed that he is expecting the two companies to reach an agreement on their dispute our of court.
“There’s not really anything new going on,” Mollenkopf said speaking at the Brainstorm Tech conference in Aspen. About the Apple dispute, he explained, “those things tend to get to resolved out of court and there’s no reason why I wouldn’t expect that to be the case here.”
There are no details as yet on whether Apple will actually decide to come to an agreement with Qualcomm or whether they will let the courts decide the case.
