Sony Mobile Communications MEA has launched its latest smartphone, the Xperia XZ Premium, in the Middle East and Africa region at its #Xperia960 event in Dubai. The new Xperia XZ Premium features super slow motion video capture at 960 fps (frames per second). This is four times slower than can be shot on any other smartphone. Super slow motion captures details that the human eye can’t see.
At the event, Sony Mobile set up four Super slow motion activity sets at the event including ‘The Fall of Faith’, ‘The Confetti Wind Tunnel’, ‘The Colour Bounce Station’ and ‘The Great Balloon Drop’. Guests at the event, entered these activity sets to immerse themselves in the action, and videos were shot with Xperia XZ Premium in Super slow motion and broadcast live.

The Xperia XZ Premium has won accolades and awards including Review Central’s “Best of MWC 2017”. The Sony Mobile Xperia XZ Premium will be available in the UAE and KSA from the end of May 2017, at major retail outlets. It will be priced in a range of AED 2600 to AED 2800.
