RSA Conference has today announced pre-conference activities to take place on November 14th at RSA Conference 2016 in Abu Dhabi. The pre-conference agenda will be comprised of an exciting Learning Lab that is based on a cyber-crisis live exercise scenario in addition to a Security Foundations Seminar.
The conference will create a live cyber-crisis exercise designed to affect the resilience of technology as well as human life and public safety across borders. In partnership with Atlantic Council, the Lab is a live scenario exercise designed to explore how governments and the private sector, among others, can work together to respond to a crisis.
The Security Foundations Seminar will provide attendees a broad understanding on some of the most important security principles, and is for practitioners looking for a holistic view of the current state of information security. The seminar will cover important security principles and current issues, laying a foundation to be further discussed during RSA Conference 2016 in Abu Dhabi.
The sessions will be hosted by a number of speakers from leading companies like RSA, Trend Micro, SWIFT, PA Consulting, Palo Alto Networks and Wipro. “With cyber security becoming a high priority in the region, there is an increasing demand for professionals who have a deep understanding of the industry,” said Linda Gray Martin, General Manager for RSA Conferences. “The aim of the pre-conference sessions is to provide attendees crucial insight on cyber security from subject matter experts and the chance to be a part of an exciting cyber-crisis exercise that will give them first-hand experience, skills and knowledge to apply in the field.”
