Kodak Alaris Concludes GITEX 2016 with Momentum

kodakalarisKodak Alaris has announced that its participation at GITEX Technology Week 2016, which took place from 16-20th October, was a huge success.

The global technology firm cemented relationships with the channel community at GITEX and educated regional enterprises about how they can solve their information management challenges.

On Monday, 17th October, Kodak Alaris hosted a partner awards ceremony at Al Qasr restaurant in Marine Club, Dubai, for key partners and clients from across the Middle East, North Africa and Russia. The awards presented by Rick Costanzo, President of Kodak Alaris’ Information Management division, honoured partners who have made significant contributions to the vendor’s business.

The award winners were:

Dox  Technologies – Distributor of the year 2016, Middle East
National Bank of Egypt – Customer Appreciation award

AllScan –  Distributor of the Year, Africa
Staten – Partner of the Year, Russia
Emirates NBD – Customer Appreciation award, Middle East

There was a constant stream of trade visitors at the Kodak Alaris booth, who were given a demo of the latest scanner technology innovations. The company unveiled the Kodak i5850S Scanner, its new high-volume production scanner that offers three-pocket sorting capabilities, designed for the extreme scanning demands of service bureaus, business process outsourcing organizations and corporate scanning departments.

Also showcased, was the company’s new robust, compact and highly affordable i3300 Scanner, enabling organizations to go paperless and scan a variety of document types in a fast and reliable way. There was a lot of interest around the KODAK Info Input Solution, a web-based and mobile capture application, designed to help businesses simplify document capture so that information can be intelligently used in a business process.

Kodak Alaris also hosted a ‘Breakfast Briefing’ on the 17th of October for a select group of CIOs from the financial industry. Emma Isichei, Worldwide Category Director, Capture Solutions at Kodak Alaris provided insights into how CIOs can turn data chaos into value through digital transformation.

We received a lot of genuine interest in our entire portfolio of hardware, software and services and it has indeed been another successful event for the company,” concluded David Whitton, regional sales director for Middle East and Africa at Kodak Alaris.
