VMWare announces new partner program

VMWare_LogoVMware has today announced a new incentive and reward program for partners that will be applicable from 1st August, 2016 called Advantage+.

The Advantage+ is a Opportunity Registration program that focuses on rewarding its partners for driving the demand for VMWare’s complex solutions in the market. As part of the increased investment VMware is making in its partners through the Advantage+ program, the company has integrated its Power Plays into the Advantage+ framework and introduced a new VPN fee structure for its Solution Providers. Both of these changes reflect provide VMWare partners with the infrastructure needed to maximize their investment with VMware.

In a statement, the company claimed that “VMware transformational solutions offer immense partner opportunity; therefore, we are aligning incentives to drive business for our advanced products. Partners making this shift with us will now be clearly and transparently rewarded through enhancements to Advantage+.”

The new program suggests that the Partners who are to drive demand for its more advanced solutions will gain up to 30% in increased up front margins. The company expects that with greater predictability through auto-validation on deal registrations; giving partners the ability to input deals earlier in the process instead of waiting for field approval – a huge boost to sales acceleration.
