TP-LINK Technologies Co Ltd, a global provider of SOHO, SMB networking products and wireless LAN solutions, has appointed Manoj Mordani as the new business development manager for Mobile Devices in the UAE.

In the new role, Mordani will be responsible for driving, developing and growing TP-LINK’s entire mobile devices business in the UAE channel, providing support to the traditional dealer channels, independent mobile devices retailers and power retailers.

According to the company, Mordani’s appointment as the new Business Development Manager for Mobile Devices will help TP-LINK to cement its footprint and business in the reseller and retail segments in the country.

Lucas Jiang, assistant general manager, TP-LINK Middle East and Africa (MEA), said the company is pleased to have Manoj Mordani join the team to develop the mobile devices business, which is part of the company’s smart home product offerings.

Jiang said that Mordani brings immense experience to the role having previously working at regional distributor Asbis Middle East, where he was responsible for growing the Prestigio mobile devices business.

“To have Manoj join TP-LINK to develop our mobile business in the UAE shows the commitment the company has for this business,” he said. “I am thrilled that we have managed to secure the services of Manoj who will help us to develop and grow our market share in the mobile devices space like we have done in the SOHO space with our networking and wireless products.”

He pointed out that with Manoj on board, TP-LINK will work closely with power retailers, independent mobile devices retailers and the traditional reseller channel to develop the market and establish TP-LINK as a trusted brand in the mobile devices segment. “Having had the opportunity to work in a distribution environment, Manoj brings a wealth of knowledge and channel market and partner management expertise something that will benefit the team and the partners we serve,” he said.

Mordani added that: “I am delighted to join the TP-LINK team and look forward to growing this business and cementing the company’s status in the mobile devices segment in the UAE channel.”
