Fortinet has announced that it has been selected as a vSecurity technology partner as part of Verizon Enterprise Solutions’ new Virtual Network Services. Fortinet’s vSecurity offers Virtual Network Function to enable enterprises to deploy adaptive, intelligent Virtualized Network Security.
he Fortinet Security Fabric provides the enterprise customers of Verizon Virtual Network Services with open, adaptive, and actionable threat intelligence, and a highly agile network. Among the broad spectrum of offerings are the plug and play vSecurity features within the FortiGate virtual network function (VNF), enterprise firewalls, the FortiManager offering a single pane of glass management, an integrated threat intelligence from FortiGaurd Labs, data loss prevention, IP security, and intrusion detection system, thereby permitting the enterprises to deploy advanced software-defined networking (SDN) security functions to protect all points of their network. Verizon’s new services can be delivered across public, private and wireless networks from Verizon or other service providers, or a combination of multiple providers across multiple networks.
