BIOSTAR unveiled its latest graphics card, BIOSTAR GeForce GTX 1080. Designed to enhance Virtual Reality experience and for Ultra-High-Definition Games, the GTX 1080 delivers high performance and efficiency.
Featuring the all-new Pascal GPU (GP104) architecture fabricated on 16nm FinFET process technology, the card sports 2560 CUDA cores with a base core clock of 1607Mhz. It also comes with a GPU boost 3.0 and 8 GB GDDR5X video memory connected to a 256-bit bus interface and can run up to 1733Mhz.
The GTX1080 features NVIDIA’s gamer-inspired cooler, which has a TDP of just 180W, it ensures that the noise levels are at a minimum. This Graphic card delivers three times the performance compared to the graphic cards of the previous generation.
Technologies like Simultaneous Multi-Projection, ANSEL and Fast Sync allows gamers draw maximum gaming experience, while enjoying a whole new level of realism with Virtual Reality. It offers a maximum resolution of 5120 x 3200 Digital or VGA 2048 x 1536.The card provides an output in either DVI, HDMI or Display Port formats. The BIOSTAR GeForce GTX 1080 will have an MSRP of USD799.
