TransSys gives wings to Gulf Air

Gulf Air and TransSys Solutions announced that they have partnered together to enhance the Oracle E-Business Suite capabilities and features to utilise latest technologies such as mobility and interface to Hybrid Cloud as part of Gulf Air’s digital transformation strategy.

The Airline is working on to create an hybrid cloud wherein both Public and Private clouds would coexist in their IT environment.

“Gulf Air has been one of the early adopters of technology. We have embarked on our digital transformation journey by adopting the hybrid cloud. We are happy to partner with TransSys given their proven knowledge, expertise and years of experience of working with the Aviation industry. We are confident they will be a strong partner in our digital transformation strategy,” says Dr. Jassim Haji, Director Information Technology at Gulf Air.

By adopting mobility and a hybrid cloud, Gulf Air expects to derive several benefits such as lowering their upfront capital costs; speed and agility to rapidly deploy new the IT environments; flexibility to access information anytime from anywhere; scalability to grow as the business grows; automated management, security, monitoring, patching and upgrade services; reduced carbon footprint; globalized workforce at reduced costs, etc.
