EMC launches EMC Forum in Egypt

EMC Forum_EgyptEMC successfully concluded its first, EMC Forum in Egypt held under the theme “Redefine Next” targeted at IT decision makers and technology professionals.

EMC Forum was held yesterday at Fairmont Heliopolis hotel, Cairo, Egypt. The Forum highlighted the strategic role of IT departments in an organization and how they effectively meet the demands of an ever competitive and changing business environment.

The EMC Forum and Exhibition in Cairo was opened by the Vice President for Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Libya at EMC, Mr. Mohamed Talaat. He was followed by a keynote speech by Brian Gallagher, President for Cloud Management Division at EMC on the benefits that organizations can obtain from the effective deployment of a hybrid cloud model to broker services from private and public clouds, enabling visibility and control over the best location to run business applications.

Talaat said, “We are proud to bring our flagship EMC Forum and Exhibition to Cairo for the first time, to be closer to our customers and extend them the technologies, tools and learning resources required to ensure readiness to transition to the third platform of IT to drive competitive differentiation, enhance customer retention and boost business growth.”

Several other experts from EMC were also present at the Forum and shared a series of strategic presentations. They also held the workshops to provide deeper insights into the effective deployment of converged infrastructure, flash and software defined technologies to enhance the performance of mission-critical operations, optimize costs and administration, drive agility and enhance customer engagement.

At the exhibition arena, EMC and its partners showcased latest technologies and solutions from EMC as well as provided online virtual demos to offer hands-on experience on EMC products and solutions.
