Hilal Computers, Oracle jointly hosted an seminar in Bahrain that was attended by over 50 IT professionals coined as Bahrain Technology Day.

The seminar, provided an exclusive update for the select audience on the latest Oracle technological advances, including the myriad advantages and capabilities of Oracle Database 12c, which has been developed for the Cloud to enable customers to make more efficient use of their IT resources, while continuing to improve users’ service levels.

Oracle Database 12c introduces a new multitenant architecture that makes it easy to consolidate many databases quickly and manage them as a cloud service. The Database also includes in-memory data processing capabilities delivering breakthrough analytical performance. Oracle database delivers new levels of efficiency, performance, security, and availability.

Senior experts from Oracle delivered presentations on topics including Oracle Cloud Strategy, Oracle Database 12c and Database Security using Oracle RAC and Active Data Guard. New ways of maximising the value of investments in SaaS/PaaS through an integration platform in the Cloud was also covered.
