eHosting DataFort (eHDF), today announced that it has achieved the acclaimed ISO 22301 certification for Business Continuity Management and has migrated to the latest version of the ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management.
These ISO certifications reinforce the fact that eHDF is operating in strict accordance with the highest international standards of information security and business continuity, and is following industry best practices for their business.
Yasser Zeineldin, CEO at eHosting DataFort said, “eHDF fully understands the sensitivity of critical customer data and the trust that customers place on us. With these certifications, we are able to demonstrate that we have adequate security measures in place to mitigate any potential risks that might affect client data. Being already certified to BS25999 and ISO 27001: 2005 certifications earlier, eHDF always had a head start when it came to expanding our credentials and obtaining the ISO 22301 and ISO 27001:2013 certifications. Achieving these certifications reflect our commitment to our customers, ensuring that we have the processes and procedures in place to provide international standards of information security and business continuity”.
With the ISO 22301 standard for business continuity, eHDF is able to guarantee planned and effective business continuity management at all levels, including organization-wide identification and understanding of critical business processes, the impact of disruption, and timely as well as orderly responses to business disruptions. This standard protects against and reduces the impact of a disruptive event, while ensuring that business continues with minimal impact to customers.
The ISO 27001 is a widely-adopted global security standard that sets out requirements and best practices for a systematic approach to manage information that’s based on periodic risk assessments.
“These ISO certifications are eHDF’s proactive response to providing our customers with a more agile, secure and always available infrastructure. Implementing the ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 standards and complying with similar international standards will enhance our customers’ overall confidence in us,” Zeineldin added.
