Gulf Air selects HP to enhance its security

Gulf AirGulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain has most recently implemented HP latest generation of Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) to bolster its Information Technology security and network data protection.

Maher Salman Al Musallam, Chief Executive Officer at Gulf Air said: “Gulf Air is committed to partnering with technology leaders to ensure the highest level of information technology security for its passengers and workforce. This agreement will ensure that Gulf Air customers’ information is secure while maintaining an efficient and easy-to-use service that facilitates all their travel requirements.”

Echoing the similar sentiments, Dr. Jassim Haji, Director of Information Technology at Gulf Air said: “With HP TippingPoint Next-Generation IPS, Gulf Air is proactively securing and blocking malicious inbound and outbound traffic.
