Dubai-based IT gadgets and accessories distributor Gadgitech has hailed its participation at DISTREE Middle East 2015 a success.
According to the distributor, the company used DISTREE to meet and interact with retailers from across the region.
Hadi Kobissi, managing partner, Gadgitech, said: “For us it was important to be at DISTREE as this is the perfect stage to interact with retailers and create new business relationships.”
Kobissi said in addition, the company needed to be present to affirm to its current clients and partners that its, active and dedicated to supplying broad array of accessories in the market.
He said for 2015, Gadgitech is focusing on new markets as technology nowadays is not exclusive to mobile devices and appliances. “IT has become a lifestyle and we are working hard on bringing to the Middle East smart solutions that meet people’s daily lifestyles,” he said.
Kobissi added that in the Middle East, the retail channel has developed and Gadgitech is finding that retailers are creating new sections in their stores to include new product categories. “The demand for technology related personal items is increasing. We are talking about keys, door locks, home security cameras, smart health at home, smart toys and many others. Not only accessories and technology retailers are expanding but suppliers such as ourselves have a way to access other store categories like home and furniture outlets and pharmacies.
Kobissi said at this year’s event, Gadgitech showcased a variety of products that are catering to the demand consumers are making. “Our major highlights were new technology innovation and smart solutions,” he said. “We are very happy about DISTREE’s organisation for the region’s premier retail event. The whole organising team is very helpful and professional. We look forward to forging new alliances.”
