Networking vendor DrayTek, in partnership with its master distributor in GCC, DVCOM Technology has hailed the second edition of the DrayTek’s Channel Champs event, which was heled in Dubai recently.

The company is seeking to recruit systems integrators (SIs) that understand the ever evolving channel landscape and used the event to launch its annual Channel Champion Campaign unveiled in February this year.

DrayTek said it wants system integrators in the region to transform their business models so that they can provide tailored products and services to end users.

“With the ever growing ICT demands in the region, it is important for SIs to grow and adapt business models to accommodate the change that is happening. The role of SIs is no longer simply about buying and selling hardware but the ability to tailor make solutions that suit the business needs,” said Joseph Tsai, sales manager at DrayTek.

Renjan George, managing director, DVCOM Technology said: “The Channel Champs event by DrayTek offered partners a chance to gain knowledgeable insight about the products while providing them the tools needed to strengthen their businesses.”

The two-day event was attended by over 100 companies from across the Middle East channel.
