Gaming PC maker MSI, has appointed South African-based PartServe Channel Support as its official authorised local support and warranty partner for laptop computers.
Partserve will now carry a full range of spare parts to support MSI laptop computers.
The MSI warranty program comprises a carry-in warranty repair and return service for MSI laptop computers. It includes faulty spare part Return of Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) management and Defective on Arrival (DOA) service.
MSI’s John Hung, said Partserve was the perfect fit. “As the preferred warranty partner in Southern Africa, we believe Partserve will represent MSI professionally. Seeing that they are experts in providing warranty repairs and support, it doesn’t make sense for us to do it ourselves.”
Having evolved as one of South Africa’s most diverse IT outsource warranty management companies, PartServe stocks and sells spare parts for all the products it officially supports and most other branded IT products available to the local market.
PartServe director, Lee Bowes said there is a definite trend towards vendors like MSI to move their support and warranty functions to an IT outsource warranty management companies like Partserve. “We are perfectly positioned to take on all major brands like MSI for support and warranty repairs.”
PartServe makes use of 34 outsourced warranty centres around the country and has a large footprint with carry-in centres in all major centres including Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.
