Mitsumi to distribute for ZTE in Africa

China’s ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has selected Mitsumi Distribution, as its strategic distribution partner for Africa.

mitsumidistributionUnder the agreement, the distribution will cover Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Mauritius, Namibia, Tunisia, Cameroon, Madagascar, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Botswana.

The partnership with Mitsumi enables ZTE to offer better product availability in the region while strengthening its presence in Africa. The companies have agreed to co-invest in technical support staff, sales, and market development activities to enable the adoption of ZTE’s products; including switches/routers, video conferencing, data centre, WLAN, CCTV and CPE.
