eReader maker Prestigio releases Prestigio App 3.0 for Android devices

Prestigio, a developer and manufacturer of electronic devices, including devices for reading  electronic books, has released a further update to its application for downloading and reading electronic books – the Prestigio eReader 3.0. ASBIS Africa is the sole distributor of Prestigio in South Africa.

prestigio_logoThe first version of the application was announced in March of last year and over the past year, the company has released two upgrades, which have won increasing popularity among more than 130,000 users worldwide.

“The new version of the Prestigio eReader differs from the previous one in that it supports Adobe DRM technology, which in turn allows its users (without any additional actions) to read books from leading online shops such as Amazon,” says Juri Antoshkin, Prestigio executive director.

“These books are usually protected with DRM technology to prevent the copying of their products. Moreover, in contrast to other applications with similar functionality, the Prestigio eReader 3.0 is available for installation absolutely free.”
