United Electronics Company eXtra has announced the appointment of Abdulhameed Abdulaziz Al Ohali as the chief executive officer of the company with effect from 10th March 2015.
This followed the Board of Directors accepting the resignation of the previous CEO Karim Al Dahabi, who quit the post for personal reasons and has been appointed as a strategic advisor to the company.
With more than 28 years’ experience, Al Ohali is one of the most prominent Saudi business leaders in the Kingdom. He has spent over 24 years contributing to various high managerial and leadership positions in a number of prominent companies in Saudi Arabia. Under his leadership, companies have achieved many of their most important milestones through securing growth and sales increase.
Al Ohali stated: “eXtra is proceeding with strategic plans for the development and improvement of its customer service and to provide the best in technology products. Apart from the opening of new branches to cover a larger geographic area in the Kingdom, the company will continue to strengthen partnerships with major technology companies around the world, providing the latest technology to the Saudi market.”
He thanked the eXtra Board of Directors for their trust, which he said will contribute to the company’s success through employees’ hard work and support.
