MiX Telematics’ fleet management passes 500K subscribers

MiX Telematics, a leading global provider of fleet and mobile asset management solutions, has achieved a significant milestone in the telematics industry, by surpassing more than 500,000 subscribers globally.mistelematicsLogo2The news was communicated by the company’s CEO, Stefan Joselowitz, during the recent earnings call held last week. He said that the company’s growth to date – particularly the achievement of half-a-million subscribers – is strong evidence that MiX Telematics is indeed one of the largest telematics providers in the world.

“MiX Telematics remains the only provider that has effectively scaled global operations, delivering ongoing value to customers around the world,” Joselowitz said.

“While we’re excited about reaching this milestone, we are more committed than ever to delivering premium products and services to our valued customers,” Joselowitz noted and added that “Relationships are a core value of our business, and I want to thank our loyal customers, suppliers and staff for their role in our success.”

Over the past quarter, achievements within the MiX Telematics business include major wins in South America and Southern Africa. In gearing for growth, the company also launched its new software platform in 2014 and is in the process of migrating existing customers to the new platform whilst adding further functionality to allow entry into new verticals.
